33 CRITICS’ CHOICE AWARD NOMINATIONS FOR HBO

PHILIPPINES, 10 DECEMBER 2019 – HBO received 33 Critics’ Choice Award nominations for the upcoming Critics’ Choice Awards, which were announced today in Los Angeles. The Critics’ Choice Awards will be presented on 12 January 2020 in Los Angeles. This is the most nominations any television network has received.

 
HBO’s Critics’ Choice Award nominations this year are:

*4 nominations for “Game of Thrones”: Best Drama Series; Best Actor in a Drama Series (Kit Harington); Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (Peter Dinklage); Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (Gwendoline Christie).

*4 nominations for “Watchmen”: Best Drama Series; Best Actress in a Drama Series (Regina King); Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (Tim Blake Nelson); Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (Jean Smart).

Catch the season finale of WATCHMEN same time as the U.S. on 16 December at 10am on HBO. The episode encores on the same day at 10pm on HBO.

*4 nominations for “Barry”: Best Comedy Series; Best Actor in a Comedy Series (Bill Hader); 2 for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (Anthony Carrigan, Henry Winkler).

*4 nominations for “Chernobyl”: Best Limited Series; Best Actor in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television (Jared Harris); Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television (Stellan Skarsgård); Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television (Emily Watson).

*3 nominations for “Succession”: Best Drama Series; Best Actor in a Drama Series (Jeremy Strong); Best Actress in a Drama Series (Sarah Snook).
