PHILIPPINES, MAY 19, 2021 – HBO Max released first look images of BAFTA®-nominated Jamie Dornan (“A Private War,” “The Fall,” “Wild Mountain Thyme”) as “The Man” desperately searching for his identity in the new drama series, The Tourist. The character-driven six-part thriller is from Emmy®-winning production company Two Brothers Pictures (“Baptiste,” “The Missing,” “Fleabag”), created and written by acclaimed writers Harry and Jack Williams for HBO Max, BBC, Stan and ZDF.

Jamie Dornan stars as a British man who finds himself in the glowing red heart of the Australian outback, being pursued by a vast tank truck trying to drive him off the road. An epic cat and mouse chase unfolds and the man later wakes in hospital, hurt, but somehow alive. Except he has no idea who he is. With merciless figures from his past pursuing him, The Man’s search for answers propels him through the vast and unforgiving outback.

Full of shocking, surprising, funny and brutal turns, The Tourist is set in a world populated by quirky, enigmatic characters and off-beat comedy punctuates high-stakes action. At its heart, however, is a story of self-discovery with a ticking timebomb underneath: as The Man starts to uncover the mystery of who he was, he’s also forced to ask who he is now – and fast. Will he unlock the secrets of his identify before those who are trying to kill him catch up with him?

The Tourist also stars Danielle Macdonald (“Unbelievable,” “Dumplin’,” “Patti Cakes”), Shalom Brune-Franklin (“Line of Duty,” “Roadkill”), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (“Trapped,” “The Missing”) and Alex Dimitriades (“The End,” “The Cry”). Damon Herriman (“Mindhunter,” “Justified”) has also joined the series playing Lachlan Rogers, replacing Hugo Weaving who departed the production due to scheduling issues.

The Tourist is a Two Brothers Pictures (an all3media company) production for the BBC, in association with Highview Productions, All3Media International, the South Australian Film Corporation, HBO Max, Stan and ZDF. The 6×60 drama has been written by BAFTA-nominated and Emmy-winning producers and screenwriters Harry and Jack Williams (“Baptiste,” “The Missing,” “Liar”), who alongside Christopher Aird (“Baptiste,” “Liar,” “Clique”) and Andrew Benson will serve as executive producers for Two Brothers Pictures and Tommy Bulfin (“Normal People,” “Line of Duty,” “Peaky Blinders”) for the BBC. PHILIPPINES, MAY 19, 2021 – HBO Original drama series The Time Traveler’s Wife (#TheTimeTravelersWife) is in production in New York. David Nutter (Emmy®-winning director for HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” “Band of Brothers” and nominee for “The Sopranos” and “The Pacific”) joins the production as an executive producer and will direct the six-episode first season.

Starring Rose Leslie (HBO’s “Game of Thrones”), Theo James(“Divergent”), Desmin Borges(“You’re the Worst”) and Natasha Lopez(“Runner Runner”), the series is an intricate and magical love story, adapted by Steven Moffat from the much loved novel by Audrey Niffenegger. The Time Traveler’s Wife tells the story of Clare and Henry, and a marriage with a problem… time travel.

Steven Moffat said, “This is a story of loss but it’s not a tragedy. It’s about a time traveler but it’s not science fiction. Despite Clare and Henry’s time scrambled relationship, this is the tale of a grand, ordinary love – but not necessarily in that order. This is a dream project for me. I have always loved Audrey Niffenegger’s extraordinary, moving novel and it has inspired me many times, so to be adapting it for television is the thrill of a lifetime. Working with David Nutter is a joy and an honour already, and with Rose Leslie and Theo James as Clare and Henry, and Natasha Lopez and Desmin Borges as Charisse and Gomez, this is going to be the love story we need right now.”

Francesca Orsi, Executive Vice President, HBO Drama Programming said, “Steven Moffat is the perfect writer to bring this beloved book and genre-bending story about marriage to life. We also couldn’t be more thrilled that David Nutter will be returning to HBO to direct all episodes of the season.”

The Time Traveler’s Wife is an HBO and Warner Bros. Television production based on the book by Audrey Niffenegger, is executive produced by Steven Moffat (“Doctor Who,” “Sherlock”), Sue Vertue, and Brian Minchin through Hartswood Films; Joseph E. Iberti; and David Nutter.

Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, which is set 300 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House Targaryen.  House Of The Dragon recently began production and will debut on HBO and be available to stream on HBO GO in 2022.

Featured cast include the following:

Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen: The king’s first-born child, she is of pure Valyrian blood, and she is a dragon rider.  Many would say that Rhaenyra was born with everything… but she was not born a man.

Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen: The younger brother to King Viserys and heir to the throne.  A peerless warrior and a dragon rider, Daemon possesses the true blood of the dragon.  But it is said that whenever a Targaryen is born, the gods toss a coin in the air…

Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon, “The Sea Snake”: Lord of House Velaryon, a Valyrian bloodline as old as House Targaryen.  As “The Sea Snake,” the most famed nautical adventurer in the history of Westeros, Lord Corlys built his house into a powerful seat that is even richer than the Lannisters and that claims the largest navy in the world.

Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower: The daughter of Otto Hightower, the Hand of the King, and the most comely woman in the Seven Kingdoms. She was raised in the Red Keep, close to the king and his innermost circle; she possesses both a courtly grace and a keen political acumen.

Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower: The Hand of the King, Ser Otto loyally and faithfully serves both his king and his realm. As the Hand sees it, the greatest threat to the realm is the king’s brother, Daemon, and his position as heir to the throne.
