PHILIPPINES, 26 AUGUST 2021 – All six episodes of the brand-new unscripted HBO Original series WE’RE HERE will debut exclusively on HBO GO on Wednesday, September 1. The  Emmy nominated reality series recruits local residents across small-town America to participate in a one-night-only drag performance. In each episode, renowned drag queens and former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’Hara and Shangela Laquifa Wadley visit a different small town to inspire and teach their own “drag daughters” to step outside their comfort zone for a night of no-holds-barred, full-on drag.

Episodes include:

Episode 1: “Gettysburg, Pennsylvana”

Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’Hara, and Shangela Laquifa Wadley arrive in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania to put on a one-night-only drag show featuring locals in need of a little support and empowerment, including: Hunter, a young, gay make-up artist yearning for a deeper connection with his father; Darryl, a local college admissions officer hoping to tell a story of race in America while being an effective ally to the LGBTQ community; and Erica, a conservative Christian mother eager to reconnect with her estranged daughter Hailey, who recently came out as bisexual.

Episode 2: “Twin Falls, Idaho”

Bob, Eureka, and Shangela head west to Twin Falls, Idaho, a conservative, predominately Mormon community in Magic Valley. There, they meet Michael, Owen, and Amelia, a group of local drag artists who need help forming a community. In order to do just that, the queens work with: Clifton, a young, straight musician trying to make amends for his past by testing his definition of masculinity; and Brandon, a trans man, and his wife, Mikayla – high school sweethearts from religious families – who are looking for the wedding experience they didn’t have the first time around.

Episode 3: “Branson, Missouri”

Debut date: Wednesday, September 1

In Branson, Missouri, a wholesome showbiz town smack in the middle of the Bible Belt, Bob, Eureka, and Shangela help three locals struggling to be their true selves in a community that prides itself on its traditional, religious values. Among them are Tanner, a young actor questioning whether it’s possible for him to be both Christian and gay; Charles, a classically-trained dancer who wants to show that he’s not just out, but proud; and Chris, a father grappling with mental health issues who’s determined to embrace his emotions for the sake of his daughter.

Episode 4: “Farmington, New Mexico”

The queens journey into the desert to help the residents of Farmington and Shiprock, New Mexico foster unity and open-mindedness. In the process, they enlist: Nate, a gay, indigenous photographer eager to make a deeper connection with his Navajo people; Nicole, a proud lesbian, public defender, and local LGBTQ activist who’s constantly misgendered because she wears “men’s” clothes; and Stacey and Jasmine, a mother-daughter duo processing the traumatic suicide of their beloved daughter and sister DJ, who struggled with not feeling accepted as a lesbian in her community.

Episode 5: “Ruston, Louisiana”

Bob, Eureka, and Shangela head south to Ruston, Louisiana to shake things up for a small town that’s in need of some change. Among their drag children are: Jose, a young gay man tired of censoring himself in order to gain respect and acceptance from others; lifelong Ruston resident Stacy, an ex-firefighter and straight ally dedicated to using his influence to make his LGBTQ community members feel welcome; and Lynn, a tenacious, proud lesbian who – despite the loss of her left arm and leg – is ready to reclaim her independence and dust off her old cowboy boots for her drag king debut.

Episode 6: “Spartanburg, We Make It Werk”

Season finale. When COVID-19 disrupts their production schedule, the queens do what they do best: they make it work. Featuring some never-before-seen performances, Bob, Eureka, and Shangela reflect – from the comfort of their homes – on ho drag changed, and evwen saved, their lives. As the queens explore We’re Here’s impact, they shed new light on the life-changing experiences they’ve had traveling across the country and meeting local LGBTQ community members.

WE’RE HERE is created and executive produced by Stephen Warren and Johnnie Ingram; directed and executive produced by Peter LoGreco; executive produced by Eli Holzman & Aaron Saidman for Industrial Media’s The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC). PHILIPPINES, JULY 26, 2021 – HBO GO is kickstarting its repertoire of reality programs with HBO Max’s brand-new ten-episode reality dating series Fboy Island, premiering in Asia with three episodes on August 1 exclusively on HBO GO. New episodes will premiere same time as the U.S. with subsequent 3 episodes on August 5 and the final 4 episodes on August 12.

Hosted by hit comedian and actress Nikki Glaser (“The Nikki Glaser Podcast,” nationwide comedy tour “One Night with Nikki Glaser”), the series follows three women as they move to a tropical island where they are joined by 24 men – 12 self-proclaimed “Nice Guys” looking for love, and 12 self-proclaimed “FBoys,” there to compete for cold, hard cash. The women will navigate the dating pool together with the hope of finding a lasting love connection. By the finale, all will be revealed – who is a Nice Guy, who is an FBoy, and who do the women ultimately choose. Fboy Island is a social experiment that asks the age-old question: Can FBoys truly reform or do Nice Guys always finish last?

Nikki Glaser said, “When I first got the call to be a part of a reality dating show called Fboy Island, I said yes immediately. Then I realised they weren’t asking me to be one of the girls looking for love. That is not a joke; it was embarrassing. But as a massive fan of this genre, hosting this show was a true dream. I look forward to hosting for the next 43 seasons. I knew going into it that a show created and produced by the people behind my two favourite shows (“The Bachelor” & “Love Is Blind”) was going to be insanely good, but this one exceeded my expectations. I already know what happens and I can’t wait to watch it every week.”

Fboy Island is produced by STX alternative, filmed earlier this year in the Cayman Islands. The series concept was created by Elan Gale (“The Bachelor” franchise), who is executive producing for The Year Of Elan Productions alongside Jason Goldberg for STXalternative, Ben Bitonti, Nikki Glaser and showrunner Sam Dean.

Stream or download Fboy Island on HBO GO. Download the app at App Store or Play Store and get a free trial. Access HBO GO at https://www.hbogoasia.sg/. HBO GO is available on Android TV, Apple TV, LG TV and Samsung Smart TV – and comes with AirPlay and Google Cast functionality.

PHILIPPINES, JULY 23, 2021 – HBO’s three-part documentary, Obama: In Pursuit Of A More Perfect Union, debuts same time as the U.S. over three consecutive days from Wednesday, August 4 exclusively on HBO GO. The documentary chronicles the personal and political journey of President Barack Obama, as the United States grapples with its racial history. Weaving together conversations with colleagues, friends and critics, and interspersed with his own speeches and news interviews, the series begins with Obama’s childhood and takes us through his perspective as the son of a white mother from Kansas and an African father, his spiritual formation by a generation of Black leaders, and his hopes for a more inclusive America. Through the story of one man irrevocably bound to the history of a country, Obama: In Pursuit Of A More Perfect Union reflects on the country’s past and present national identity.

Obama: In Pursuit Of A More Perfect Union is directed by Emmy® winner Peter Kunhardt (HBO’s “True Justice: Bryan Stevenson’s Fight For Equality,” “John McCain: For Whom the Bell Tolls”, “King in the Wilderness”).

With the clarity of hindsight and perspective of the last four years, Obama: In Pursuit Of A More Perfect Union forms a cohesive picture of America under its first Black president. Obama’s presidency was unique in America’s history, but what was a historic step forward for the country also exposed the ever-present need to address deeply entrenched challenges around race, racial justice and our history.

The series provides context, insight and critique from a wide range of participants including: author Jelani Cobb; Representative John Lewis; political consultant David Axelrod; Rev. Alvin Love; author Michael Eric Dyson; journalist Laura Washington; Rev. Jeremiah Wright; journalist Michele Norris; New Yorker editor David Remnick; Rev. Al Sharpton; professor Cornel West; politician Jesse Jackson; author Ta-Nehisi Coates; NAACP’s Sherrilyn Ifill; political advisor Valerie Jarrett; professor Henry Louis Gates Jr.; actor Keegan-Michael Key; former government official Shirley Sherrod; journalist David Maraniss; professor Ken Mack; speechwriter Jon Favreau; advisor Broderick Johnson; and Representative Bobby Rush.

Part One of Obama: In Pursuit Of A More Perfect Union looks back over Obama’s upbringing by a single mother from Kansas and white grandparents, his early schooling in Hawaii and his education at Columbia University and Harvard Law School. Through archival interviews, Obama reflects on the impact of having an estranged African father, growing up bi-racial and his evolving relationship with the African American community in Chicago, where he worked with Black churches as a community organizer.

Part Two takes us from Obama’s presidential bid to his election to the White House in November 2008, exploring the obstacles and successes along the campaign trail. With constant pressure to define his identity along racial lines and frustrated by what he saw as a distraction from other important issues, Obama delivers his “race speech” of March 2008, a determined defense of the U.S. Constitution and a plea to look beyond America’s “racial stalemate” in order to advance prosperity and unity.

Part Three takes us to the White House years and the formidable hurdles that Obama faced trying to pass legislation in a bitterly divided Congress. He ultimately succeeded in passing the Affordable Care Act but the chasm across the aisle in Washington grew ever wider. As the nation faced a period of heightened awareness around police brutality towards African Americans and the fervent partisan battle over gun control, his critics accused him and the administration of not doing enough to lead a conversation about race, and the president moves forward with policies that focus on racial justice and empowerment.

Obama: In Pursuit Of A More Perfect Union encapsulates the man and the president, illuminating his vision for the nation shaped from his own experiences and identity. Through today’s lens, the documentary reflects on the Obama administration with new understanding about the personal obstacles he faced and the challenging pursuit for equality in America.

HBO Documentary Films’ presents a Kunhardt Films Production, Obama: In Pursuit Of A More Perfect Union, directed by Peter Kunhardt; produced by George Kunhardt, Teddy Kunhardt, Matthew O. Henderson; edited and produced by Maya Mumma, ACE; executive producers, Peter Kunhardt;  Andi Bernstein  and  Mona Sutphen; Jelani Cobb  and Jacqueline Glover. FIGHT SPORTS™ continues to prevail in securing rights to the most significant events in the sport by acquiring the rights to Tyson Fury’s third meeting with Deontay Wilder for the WBC Heavyweight World Title in over 50 countries.

Territories span from covering almost all of Asia, several countries in Europe, the Middle East/North Africa, to the Caribbean.

December 2018 was the first time these two heavyweights met. It was an action-packed Championship fight that included the dramatic comeback of Fury climbing off the canvas to finish the thrilling first encounter to a draw.

They followed that up with a rematch in February 2020, where Fury knocked Wilder out in the 7th round and became WBC Heavyweight World Champion, a title that Wilder had held for more than five years.

These bouts established both fighters as two of the best heavyweights in the sport of boxing today.

The two meet one more time for the World Championship to cap their historical trilogy and set the road to unifying the Titles.

FIGHT SPORTS™ plans a comprehensive programming line-up that will include original programming, exclusive interviews, and both Championship bouts between the two fighters to relive the excitement and capture the anticipation leading up to July 24th.

PHILIPPINES, July 5, 2021 – From Mike White (HBO’s “Enlightened”), HBO’s six-episode limited series THE WHITE LOTUS, a social satire set at an exclusive Hawaiian resort, debuts same time as the U.S. on Monday, July 12, at 9am exclusively on HBO and HBO GO, with a same day encore at 10pm on HBO. New episodes air every Monday at the same time.

Starring Murray Bartlett (HBO’s “Looking”), Connie Britton (“Nashville”), Jennifer Coolidge(“2 Broke Girls”), Alexandra Daddario (HBO’s “True Detective”), Fred Hechinger(“Eighth Grade”), Jake Lacy (HBO’s “Girls”), Brittany O’Grady (“Little Voice”), Natasha Rothwell (HBO’s “Insecure”), Sydney Sweeney (HBO’s “Euphoria”) and Steve Zahn (HBO’s “Treme”), the series follows the vacations of various hotel guests over the span of a week as they relax and rejuvenate in paradise. But with each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in these picture-perfect travellers, the hotel’s cheerful employees and the idyllic locale itself.

Recurring guest stars include: Molly Shannon (HBO’s “Divorce”), Jon Gries (“Dream Corp LLC”), Jolene Purdy (“WandaVision”), Kekoa Kekumano (“Aquaman”), and Lukas Gage (HBO’s “Euphoria”).
