To mark Warner Bros. Studios’ 100th anniversary, Bugs, Daffy, Sylvester and co. take it up a notch and transform into The Wizard of Oz and other iconic characters

Philippines (April 3, 2023) –Are you ready to dive into the most mischievous month of the year? This April, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote and the whole Looney crew will spend the month celebrating with Looney Tunes ACME Fools – an animated out-of-the-box moment dedicated to mayhem and laughter.

This year’s ACME Fools also lines up with Warner Bros. Studios’ 100th anniversary on April 4. In true Looney Tunes style, they will be amping up their silly shenanigans and playful pranks, this time across some of Warner Bros.’ most iconic and prized franchises. From April 1 onwards, animated mashups featuring your favorite toons, inserting themselves into Scooby-Doo, Superman, The Flintstones and The Wizard of Oz, will go live on the Cartoon Network Asia social pages.

There will also be an ACME Fool’s dedicated livestream on Cartoon Network Asia’s YouTube channel where fans can go on wacky adventures with Cartoon Network’s best jokesters.

Stay tuned to Cartoon Network Asia’s social pages on April 4 from 10am-6pm to catch a Looney take on some of the most iconic Warner Bros. moments – every hour, on the hour! These will be amplified across DC Asia and HBO GO pages as well. 

Cartoon Network and streaming service HBO GO will also be giving top billing to the Looney Tunes with weekend marathons and specially-curated episodes of Looney Tunes Cartoons, Teen Titans GO! and Tom and Jerry. Winner of Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Limited Series Company Sweeps Comedy Series Categories

PHILIPPINES, SEPTEMBER 14, 2022– With 48 Emmy® awards, Warner Bros. Discovery (Nasdaq: WBD) was the most-honoured media company at the 74th Annual Primetime Emmy® Awards. HBO / HBO Max received 38 wins, CNN received 1 win, TBS received 1 win and WBTV received 8 wins. The Company earned recognition in all three Outstanding Series categories, with Succession named Outstanding Drama Series, Ted Lasso named Outstanding Comedy Series, and The White Lotus named Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series.

HBO and HBO Max earned more awards than any other network or platform, with 38 awards across shows including Succession, The White Lotus, Hacks, Euphoria, A Black Lady Sketch Show, Jerrod Carmichael: Rothaniel, and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

HBO’s The White Lotus was this year’s most recognized show with 10 awards. Warner Bros. Television Group’s Ted Lasso was the king of comedy with seven wins.
